Urban Angel cafe
Absolutely fantastic breakfast! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The hummus on toast was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, so fresh and full of flavour. The eggs benedict with mushrooms, spinach, and added halloumi was incredible, perfectly balanced and packed with a special, unique taste. And the French toast with banoffee was on another level, I loved the mix of yoghurt, caramel, and nuts, it was just divine. Definitely coming back again and would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Bertie's Proper Fish & Chips
This place was recommended to us as the best and most award-winning spot for Fish and Chips in the city. We would definitely go back! The service was very friendly and it offers great value for money, although they did add a 10% service charge to the bill without informing us beforehand. The venue is very spacious and perfect for large groups, and the decor is quite charming and fun. They offer several food options, but if you want to try the most traditional dish, the classic Fish and Chips (which I’ve attached in the photo) is £17. It’s a place worth returning to, located right in the heart of Victoria Street—you couldn't ask for a better location!

Holy Cow
I have wanted to visit this place for years and it did not disappoint. The oyster mushroom burger was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted!!!! Amazing flavours and the homemade bun was incredible. You have to try the cakes too! Unreal.

Vittoria on the Bridge
At the very beginning - we loved this place! Amazing food amazing service amazing place. We tried calamares, tomato soup, fish & cips and Pizza Burratta. All of them were amazing and we enjoyed everyting. The burratta was wonderful. The service was very friendly, fast and the staff loved to give informatin about the food and drinks. The atmosphere is also great and the place is quiet. We enjoyed everything and left the place with a big smile. Recommending.

Ka Pao Edinburgh
If you’re looking for modern, innovative, and delicious Thai-fusion dishes, this is the place! We had three “small plates”: corn ribs, beef tartare, and pork belly papaya salad. All three were amazing. And then one “share size”: crab curry with rice noodles. It didn’t have the best texture but was really tasty (be sure to use the basil leaves and lime). The only misstep was the milk buns that they gave us for free with the crab curry; not the best. We also had two cocktails and both were great. Really wish we had 4 people so we could do the 12-course sharing menu! Our server was very attentive and took time to find out what dishes had ingredients we needed to avoid. Overall, highly recommend.

Three Birds
Fish sweetcorn soup delicious (without chorizo), green thai was a bit spicy but they've provided yogurt on the side to help neutralise it a bit. Fennel tea delicious, although it gets cold quickly in large cups😁 The only downside is window seat, and the view at bins😬
